I figured I could explain the battles a bit, since you are a bit confused on how they work, so, they're pretty interesting and I'm still new to them, but here's how they work. Essentially, you cast a battle, when it resolves, you put on the battlefield with an opponent of your choice to defend it. Then it becomes kind of like a planeswalker, they have what are called defense counters, that's the "life" of the battle, so you can choose to attack a battle much like you would attack a planeswalker, and once you get the defense counters to zero, you exile it and then cast it transformed without paying the mana cost. They're pretty bizarre but once you understand and see how it works, it's pretty easy to understand, hopefully this helps, and great asmr, been watching you for a long while now, and I'm happy to see how much you've grown, you're doing great, keep it up!

so cool you got thalia and gitrog. it's such a hilarious card lol. drana and linvalla is super cool as well! my favourite flavour text is the placid rottentail. bunny just found some oil mushrooms lol i did a pre-release a couple days ago and had a blast, but i think i got really lucky with my box. i went with white/green backup deck and had some insane luck with my rares (wrenn & realmbreaker, monastery mentor, and tribute to the world tree). ended up winning every round and only losing a single game lol. i'm also not sure about incubate or battles yet, but backup has been really fun

I had a quick look at the comments, and not sure if anyone else has answered this, but the weird mana symbols on some of the cards that you're not sure about are called Phyrexian Mana symbols. It's the name for any mana symbol that allows you to pay life instead of the color, and comes from the first visit to the plane, New Phyrexia.

I find it funny that your first box of this set was underwhelming. This set is bomb city. Pretty much half the cards cost 6+ mana and are legendary with crazy effects. You must have gotten a really unlucky box the first go around. Great video as always!
