Hello Everyone! In this Guided Meditation I will gently and slowly guide you to a calm place for sleep using a relaxing body scan and guided imagery. We will end with some peaceful sleep suggestions. There are hand movements, light hand sounds, palm tracing, finger flutters and layered sounds throughout. It is done in a soft spoken tone with occasional whisper.

I LOVE how you rub your thumb and fingertips together to create that skin friction sound. Many ASMRtists do the finger fluttering, but I find that mostly to be too fast and distracting. The overall tone of your videos is just super calming and deliberate and it is so very appreciated!! Your delicate and gentle movements and voice make me feel so cared for because it is intentional and allows me to feel the time and sacrifice you are giving for my own relaxation. You spoil us with intimacy, loving attention we may not receive in our own lives this side of the screen… I just can’t thank you enough. I’m a mother of 18 month & almost 3 year old boys. I’m a preschool teacher, who already suffers from anxiety and depression, and I have for the last decade and a half. But recently I’ve been suffering above and beyond what I can handle and have been diagnosed with ADHD. In women, it presents very differently than it does in men, and very differently from the public’s general idea of what ADHD looks like. It is VERY much INTERNAL hyperactivity, mental stress and overstimulation and every burden is just held onto in the mind and it weighs me down. Your videos have been a blessing for helping to slow my brain down and push out the stimuli that doesn’t pertain to the moment I’m in when I am watching your videos. Thank you so much, Morika. I would honestly love to have a getting to know you type of video! Unless you prefer to be a more distanced on-screen persona, which I would completely understand as well. But we get to experience your affection as though we have a caring relationship, and i sometimes forget that I know very little about you 😂 But I know you care, you are patient and tender with us. Looking after children can be such a rewarding thing, but I think we're so focused on them sometimes that it's so easy to forget to take care of ourselves too. I have several family members with ADHD and I definitely understand how difficult that can be at times as well as just how frustrating the general misconception about the diagnosis is (Especially for adults). This is the exact vibe I come to this channel for. I find a lot of ASMR too quick. Even if there are great triggers, the speed takes away from the relaxation. Apart from your velvety voice there's something about the way you speak; your accent so to speak. Kind of old fashioned, like a transatlantic accent. I don't know, maybe it's a regional thing?
