I won't be able to translate this word for word, but the general scenario is like this: Morikawa appears to be admiring something tasty (a woman?). He sounds like he's describing someone or something pretty, but it all turns out that he was talking to/about shumai (Chinese dumpling) on his plate right before eating it.
