To be honest I think this was one of her best performances. She had a lot of control with her voice. She can sing really really good. She is Amazing. I would not want to compare her to Mariah Carey cause I feel that Morisette is her own person but here and there she can hold them high notes and it sounds like a little like what Mariah would do but personally and it's my own personal opinion that Morisette is MORISETTE. She is wonderfully blessed with the voice she has. God is doing amazing things in her life. And Ovela and M-Angel I truly agree with your thoughts on her performance. That's apparently the whole song. I watched both versions multiple times already and this is better than Mariah's version in an objective standpoint, in terms of power, breath control and runs. In a sense, this is the beginning of her career; because before her wish performances, she was an artist that was "just there". She was not recognized the way she should be. The time only came when youtubers started reacting to her. That is why she was crying a lot when she won multiple awards. Yes, please don't react to her cover of Listen. The quality is unwatchable. Please react to her cover of "I Love You Goodbye" instead. The video quality is deceiving because it has good audio quality. Ok. I take that back. You guys should react to her Wish-oke challenge. She sang 4 Filipino songs there over the melody of 4 english songs. She showed a bit of her personality there although she was shy. She sang over the melody of Pyramid (by Charice), Titanium, Dancing Queen and On the Wings of Love. It only has 600k views because it doesnt show up in the suggested videos when you watch wishclusive performances. Check it out. Its worthy of analysis.

I watched all the Mariah Against All Odds youtube videos (also Emotions and I Cant Take That Away). It just seems so effortless with Mowie, especially that last run. Try re-watching any live version of Mariah's "AAO", her vocals waver in the last parts. On the other hand, Mowie was sitting down, chilling like a boss.

My thoughts though- She is a very versatile artist, she makes covers to a song and being compared to the original artist, for me its an honor, at her age of 20 being compared to Mariah? Why not, though it gives an impression that she is immitatingMariah, but for me not beacuse she can whistle and squeeks shes already immitating Mariah, shes great in her ownself as Morissette, and her covers of Stone Cold which you have listened to, her Beyonce Medley, Bang bang and Chandelier and her new cover of My heart will go on will prove her versatility, in addition, her version of When I was your man that she performed with the birit queens blown me up. she always excites me everytime she performs.
