It was in this 2017 Asia Song Festival in South Korea that Morissette earned the nickname "Asia's Phoenix" 🥰 What a display of power vocals, agility, whistle notes, stage presence and showmanship. Truly a pride of the Philippines! The event organizers and hosts were so impressed with Mori that they invited her again to perform in the following year 2018 Asia Song Festival. That was the first time a Filipina singer performed two years in a row in such a prestigous international music event. Mori acknowledges that as one of the highlights of her career.
