It's one of the most difficult songs to sing, as it demands a lot from a singer, especially the later parts which is not-stop belting. But Mori slayed it and nailed it... while sitting down.. cross-legged.. in a studio bus. Such passion, power, intensity in the delivery of this song. I'm glad that you did not pause the video on that part and you let it finished before making your comments and reaction. As you mentioned and I agree with you, Mori has a lot in her vocal toolbox and she knows how to use them to create art in the form of music, using different colors and hues and textures of her voice. She has these techniques like squeaks (others call them vocal breaks or vocal cry, but usually squeaks, and as you call them "Morissette squeaks"), also growls, and dynamics. The result is a masterpiece, a performance that captivates us, leaves us in awe, mesmerized, wide-eyed, jaw-dropped, mind-blown. 🥰 Yes, this song is part of the soundtrack of a TV drama series, and yes, Mori is the one who sang the theme song used in that series, because she is the one chosen by the producers to interpret it. Although she is not the original singer, it was Sheryn Regis (she was mentioned as co-writer of the song). This rendition by Mori has become trending and viral, making the song very popular. In fact, even after the drama series has ended, the lyric video of this song still has so much views, it has now more than 22 million views! and this Wish Bus video that you reacted to has already more than 12 million views! 🥰

A couple of years ago I watched a video or podcast I can't remember which now where Morissette explains how she does her signature squeak. She said that she just touched on her whistle register and then back to the note immediately to create that sound. She is amazing. Loved the reaction.
