Mainstream singers would never expose themselves in this way, singing a very difficult song that they haven't mastered, plus playing the chords on the fly. The rap like melodic lines of the verses are very hard to execute. The belted vocal lines at the end is a reminder of how easy it is for her to release into full, rounded belts. To be able to project it so easily, and also, to sustain it. The vocal tract sits very open when she wants it to. Special talent.

Awesome reactionl This seems so natural in her try of singing it. Obviously she's trying to read the lyrics&still needs practice on singing the cover from copying Mariah to her version. It seems like an honest session as she's still reading the lyrics&piano charts.
