@@catramadrid2208 He most certainly does in my humble opinion, while Dimash may get higher in notes, they are NOT clear and he is merely squeaking. Marcelito Pomoy on the other hand can reach the high notes while singing WORDS and they are clear as a crystal bell. You get what I am saying? Also on the lower bass register, Marcelito has a much more masculine and powerful voice with such rich fullness. So to me its very simple to choose. But to each their own opinion.

Another biased morissette fan that obviously doesn't listen properly. Morissette is one of the best singers in the world as is sohyang. I have to agree that when it comes to whistle tone there is no one like morissette but on the other stuff,to say sohyang cant even tie her shoe laces is ludicrous. Sohyang speaks english fluently & her diction is equal to morissette,if not better. Sohyang has the best mixed voice in the world & to say she sings without emotion is rubbish,she is the most emotive singer i've heard,who is so good she can still portray that emotion to non korean speakers when she's singing in korean. She does not scream out the high notes or under strain,just watch her face & neck,there is no strain & could go on & on. If you want an unbiased view of the vocals of sohyang then maybe you should look at more video's of rea tions of vocal coaches etc,people who know what they're talking about,probabaly the very same ones who heap praise on morissette too. We all have our preferences when it comes to music,thats just a matter of taste but that is no reason to deny the talents of one of the best singers in the world just because she's not your favourite. Why cant you just be glad that we get to hear so many amazing voices,surely the more amazing singers there are,the better for those of us that are listeners. I have to say that sohyang is my favourite if I had to just pick one but you would never hear me saying other than good things about morissette because she too is one of the best singers in the world too but thats just my preference & its not an anti filipino thing either because my 2nd favourite singer is the wonderful lea salonga,who I actually prefer to morissette,but once again thats just my taste but I actually like to listen to all 3 of them,as well as others,there's enough room in the music industry for all of them. Oh dear,my bad again,sorry! It appears that typing is not my forte tonight. Lastly I would just like to say that I see this argument all the time about morissette & sohyang, & usually always instigated by supporters of morissette,& I try to keep out of it because its pathetic really but every now & again I see it & it makes me so angry because its not fair,its not based on anything that is true musically,its just your blinkered opinion, & whilst people who have actually seen sohyang for themselves & are prepared to be honest,are capable of making their own minds up about who they may prefer,I feel that there is another group of people that may only know of morissette so far & haven't experienced any of sohyangs performances for themselves,that could be put off try to even watch anything by sohyang because you have painted her to be such a terrible singer & that is not only unfair,it is also untrue. I'd be interested to know how you would feel if I started putting out comments which said sohyang is amazing,which is true but morissette sings flat,she's a bit inconsistant when singing live,is a bit over the top with the riffs and runs & that her whistle tone was only pleasant to dogs hearing? you'd be upset or angry right because those things aren't true. It'd be even more interesting if this happened between a fan,like myself,and lea salonga.if I said lea was amazing but morissette not so? Its all about taste,we can all really like many singers but due to human nature we will all have one that will be our favourite,our no1,it happens in many many things in life.maybe a good example is we can support a whole football team with all our might,but within that team we will all have a favourite whether we divulge that information or keep it to ourself,but it doesn't mean that we dont also support the other 10 players in that team. I cant force you to like sohyang,I wouldn't even try,but I would give you the chance to make your own mind up, but what I would like to say is yes,support morissette with all your might but please dont rubbish sohyang in the process & if that is actually wot you think of her then maybe just keep it to yourself,like,my gran used to say 'if you cant say anything nice then dont say anything at all'. Anybody that wants an unbiased reaction to any singer,not just the two we are talking about,then seek out reaction channels from people in the music industry,vocal coaches etc because even if a singer is not to their liking,they will always be honest enough to point out the amazing technicalities because that is a true fact & not a matter of taste,they have a duty to do this. My 'rant' is now over but I just have to make it clear that is not all morissette fans,of which I am one,that have this opinion & it is definately not an anti-pinoy thing,in fact although I have said that sohyang is my no1, the Philippines as a country must produce the highest % pro rata of amazing singers than anywhere else on the planet. You can throw all the technical words you want at me,anyone can do that,but when you start your explanation with the words 'speaking/talking is not the same as singing fluently in a language' I give up,how can you say that she doesn't sing fluently In a language,its ludicrous.like I said we can all use technical words that we've heard someone else say,it doesn't mean we understand what it means so you cant force your opinion on me by doing that,although sadly there maybe people that accept that just because you sound like you know what you're talking about,its sounds like bullying to me but I realise that this is just a pointless exercise, I dont think you'd listen to anybody. I watch lots of reation video's & never have I seen 1 reaction from a genuine vocal coach that has any thing other than good things to say about both on the technical side of singing,after that its just down to what that person like to hear most which may be governed by tone,genre of music,stage presence etc. You find me a 'genuine' unbiased & fair vocal coach that is in agreement with you & I will at least listen to what they have to say. I think you are so blinkered that you cant actually see that some of what you are saying with regards to technique is so absurd,which is a shame. I just dont understand how someone that obviously has good taste in music because they like & appreciate morissette, bube the same person who has so many bad things to say about sohyang from a technical point of view,how can those two totally opposing opinions come from the same person with the same pair of ears.
