As you know this was from ASAP Birit Queens and each singer gets a song or two to sing, The vocal break is Mori's way to make a song her's, well the second voice was Klarrisa and after that sang Klarrisa her song with someone else doing the second voice and so on, now watch BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATER with Jona doing the second voice, use the FANBOYS and FANGIRLS Video it's the best Version, it's short but brillant, I must say your friend is old school, the Righteous Brothers Version was great but this is the best cover out there, would love to hear Mori sing this solo. I forgot to say at the start of the FANBOYS and FANGIRLS Video you see Mori doing second voice for Klarrisa then it goes to Mori singing BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATER with Jona doing second voice, ENJOY.

@@TheBr3akRoom Sohyang is not multi-dimensional. She cant go around ALL genres except belting high with ease. In her covers, no signature stamped on each that would make it her own. We know Sohyang is a great belter and that’s it. Katrina is at par, if not better, with her in terms of stamina and support. However, what separated Morissette from the rest is her ability to transform covers as her own. She has variety of signatures stamped all over song that she covers. In the Rise Up, for instance, her runs and rifts were so distinctive of her, and she can even integrate beatifully executed whistle tones which were not there in the original version much less performed by any singers who did cover of the same song. I mean, we always have something to look up to whenever she holds a microphone. This is not even to mention her timber, unique tonality and ability to evoke emotion (listen to: Resignation or She Used to be Mine. She is simply unique and adorable too!

SoHyang is an older more experienced singer, but Morisette's tone, the control of her belts, and the range (better lows and higher highs), the enunciation, make me prefer her over SoHyang.

The fact the guy on the left has such a strong opinion on what sounds “best” yet obviously has no idea about singing or the voice. Otherwise he would have known that the cry/break was intentional and added for emotional affect. You are part of the very very few people (like 2 in the world) who don’t like it. So I wouldn’t speak so strongly on your dislike, or try to imitate it like you have any idea on the subject, or even the ability to make fun of it when it has been a signature of hers and part of the reason why she is where she is today. There’s one thing to have an opinion or a dislike, but to put it out there so strongly and to mock her for it is just disrespectful, when I’m sure you are not in a position of achievement in any subject to speak on the matter. Great job to the other two guys though 👏🏼

I don't know understand how Klarisse won over Morissette. My opinion Morissette has a unique and phenomenal voice than her. But anyway, it really doesn't matter that MORI didn't WIN any of your Philippines singing competition but look at her now. Belting it's not everything. The tone/timbre also counts. I like Morissette but this version of song didn't like it, instead I can listen to Bobby Hatfield's version all day long.
