I understand that makes you feel emotional is that feeling of apathy towards her because she has the gift and she’s visually impaired. Now, if you were saying you dont feel the emotion in morissette performance here, then it only shows you are more biased for putri because only machines cant feel the emotion evoked from mori’s voice. But i wont push further argument with you in that aspect because it has become subjective. Let me say, they’re equal in that department. But what makes morissette apart from the rest is her arsenal of vocal techniques that no other singers possess. The timber and vocal ranges executed expertly. I admire the young putri. She can still develop what she lacked for now. But meantime, comparing their performances here, mori is too much to be putted against her.

Morissette is not just all power. She's very dynamic. In this song she was soft and angelic on the first verse, then she would climb up and dip down in between, then she packs a punch at the end, then she finishes off very softly. A masterclass on how to sing dynamically.
