Hi Ovela I don’t think the part you were pointing was a pitch issue. It was really sung that way. Even the original version by Regine Velasquez. It was really meant to go really low and then slowly build up to the high notes.

In the beginning, they were talking about how Mori’s cover of one of Regine Velasquez iconic song (written by Ogie - Regine’s husband) has gone viral. They said it was a very hard song to sing (typical Regine) but Mori also sang it effortlessly. Mori said she was able to talk to Ogie and “they” (Regine+Ogie) seem to like her cover. Vice (TV show host) said Ogie liked it but she talked to Regine and she just said “its ok”. they all laughed knowing its just a joke. FYI: 1)Vice is a Regine gay impersonator before and still is a DIE HARD fan. Vice has always been vocal how Regine helped her career and personal life hence is not only her idol but her hero. 2)For some reason, Regine is also considered the Gay Community Queen. 3)Her songs are known to be hard/ difficult that is why they were used by many singers to practice and as contest piece. 4)Mori really did an incredible cover of that song and made it her own with the whistle note. Regine was actually quite impressed and encouraged Mori to record her version. 5)The show and challenges seems a bit too much, but it is what this show is about, being crazy, silly and not taking urself too seriously. I feel like Philippines is producing amazing talents with such unbelievable humility by the minute! #GoPH
