Mori is a christian and the guy who wrote the song re-arranged it for her and told her "everybody knows you can sing but this time i want you to sing with your heart". She definetely did since the lyrics wasn't just words to her but something she truly believes. You don't necessarly have to be a christian to become moved by her performance here. Most reactors gets moved by her performance here and many of them, as far as i know, arent't christians.

Kiki, As a long time Mowienatic, I have found that it is pointless to try to figure out Mori. She is simply a world class singer and most will say the greatest technical female artist on the planet who has touched the hearts of all her millions of fans from around the world. She is the total package. Check out her video of her 2020 live favor church performance of "Oh Holy Night". Her version of this song has set the bar so high for any other artists that it is ridiculous. You won't be disappointed.

Well Kiki, only two songs or so into the Mori rabbit hole - and already fully getting what makes her different from all the others! Cudos! If you want to go fast lane, then do “Gusto ok nang bumitaw” next (There are no subtitles, but - as you can already imagine - they are not needed. You understand the song, even though she sings it in Tagalog.) The English translation is “the broken marriage vow”. You can probably guess the spectrum of emotions to expect: desperation, frustration, aggression, resignation etc…
