Whats remarkable is she loses the whistle for a second but was able to pull it back. That aint easy. Such a pro. I have to say she doesnt even need whistle tones. For me her lows and belts are clean and on another level. Please get Sia or someone to work on an original song with her! Thats all she needs.

Exactly. People get so excited that she has whistle register that the sheer beauty of her voice and her rock solid technique get overlooked sometimes. For me, her whistle register is just the cherry on top of the sundae. She has one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard, and I've seen numerous vocal coaches and singers say the same thing.

The song reminds me when i was just laid off from my job. I was alone in our barracks and this song was played over the radio back in the early 80's and it brought me so much loneliness not just the melody itself but probably due to losing my job.
