Yes po it's indeed a technique we always do these po sa chorale. We need to smile a little bit to raise our cheeks with the eyebrows. It will really helps for tenors and sopranos to hit those freaking high notes.

Funny you mention her "disney princess" feel since she and Darren Espanto were actually approached by Disney to sing a version of "A Whole New World" for the Aladdin remake (a wish bus version exists on youtube if you're interested). But yeah, Morrissette is amazing. Her "Rise Up" and "Never Enough" covers are also crazy good.

Just a wee bit of history. Philippines were under Spanish control for centuries, so there is lots of Spanish blood and other cultures in their country, so yeah, there will be lots of spanish names. I've looked at some of your other reaction videos and good job. One fun group you might listen to is Voice Play, Oogie Boogie Man from Nightmare before Christmas is a good intro to their stuff , I'd also suggest Home Free is you haven't heard of them before, Folsom Prison might be a song to start with

I first heard this song as a soundtrack to a Filipino soap opera called "Pasión de Amor". Shame that it's never been used in a movie or other shows except for that one. I'm just glad that I got to see this performance on Wish Bus and saw what a phenomenal singer Morissette is. 👍 She actually made me love this song, while all other love songs seem almost like your typical generic type. I believe Adonis Tobanda is the composer of the song. She rose to fame at 14 when she was runner up in a singing competition Star Factor and got to the semifinals in The Voice Philippines at the age of 17. From there she has become one of the most famous singers in the Philippines.

Actually Kiko Salazar wrote it. He has been in Morissette's 'camp' for a while she calls him her Kuya Kikx it sort of means like her big brother or elder brother, someone whose there to help guide someone but closer. Like a big briother you always can go to to give you an honest answer. He also wrote the song, 'Power' that she sang for The Miss Universe Philippines. He writes songs then he and Morissette rearrange it to her liking.
