I know Mori can hit A5 note but probably because of the lineup of songs she did, she chose to play it smart. She sang many songs straight. She was crying at one point before she sang this song. She did beyond amazing this concert. She was not totally feeling well but still she slayed! Also, given her history of having throat surgery, it is just smart not to do so much unnecessary belting. Her current belting is already high with such a pleasant sound. She is smart enough to aim for longevity.

Legit Stan if u closely follow her, she did an intentional vocal break in her Araneta concert. Not swiftly executed like most of her intentional breaks but that same intentional vocal break sound was used when she sang Bridge Over Troubled Water and Secret Love Song (end part) in Asia Song Fest. Im not justifying because I heard her do A5 before and that was LIVE. Also, a singer does not have to hit such notes especially if she has been singing a lot songs in a concert that involves a lot of belting. And Mori does not need to prove anything because she can do something that others cant. She is just smart enough not to abuse her voice for longevity.

The quality of her voice when she belts is beautiful different. The character of her voice is heaven. The quality of her belt is difficult to execute because it sounds wide. I cant explain it with words. She belts filling the entire spectrum. Some belters would use a sharp, noisy sound. Mori’s sound still sounds so pleasing even when belting. I applaud her choice of sound. She is heaven sent!

@@JoShua-vp1ks consistent naman talaga siya sa A5 note? Pumiyok lng siya, isang beses sa Morissette is Made concert. Anong pantatlong pinagsasabi mo po? Saan po piyok diyan? Katrina has the ease, I won't deny. I have nothing against Katrina but they use different techniques. Katrina's mix is a balanced mix which makes it easier to glide from one note to another, that explains why she can belt the A5 almost all the time. Mori on the other hand has a chest dominant belt, which is harder to execute. Sa ratio kasi ng mix niya, mas matimbang ang Chest voice component, and as you know or not know po chest voice has weight on it. The more chest is in the ratio of the mix, the more weight it has, making it harder to pull off.

To be honest, feeling ko, kaya minamalas si Katrina, na kaya siguro di sya kasing sikat ni Mowie, kasi yung fans nya ang ngpapasama ng reputation nya. Yung tipong, pinupuntahan lng nila ang videos ni Mowie pra mambash, imbes na mgfocus sila sa idol nila. Baka nga siguro, ang kikitid ng kanilang mga utak at sa tingin nila, pag hinihila nila pababa si Mowie, aangat ang career ni Kat. Eh mga ugok pala kayo!
