Morley, Leeds Walkalong - We Check Out the Best Place to Live in Leeds

I’m from Morley but live in Adelaide now, great to have a look round again,not been back in 10 years, looks like the place has had a lot of money spent on it, a lot of new bars etc

I used to go to Saint Francis primary school from 1976-1981. I would go to the swimming pool with my school once a week. When it was home time I would walk through the Morrison's car park and get the Churwell bus in front of the town hall. It's changed a lot, but still recognizable.

I grew up in Morley, born in 1966, it is a great place and apart from changes to the town center it hasn't changed much

Kasa Rosa hasn’t been open there over 30 years it was the white horse pub well into the 2000s

Morley is nothing like it used to be, the market is a shell of its former self too. And don't forget peel street market back in the day.

Hi N k. Thanks for your comment! If you want a good old fashioned market there's the one at Fleetwood. Honestly, we couldn't believe it. It was like stepping back in time to the 70s. Not that Colin remembers the 70s 🤠😎🧢
