Hey mate, How long was the walk?? is there any walks that you would recommend for an overnight stay somewhere?? I am from the west side of Melbourne so do not get over that side much if at all?? Cheers.

G'day Gav, sure can. Of course this advice depends on what you're seeking as there are many differing opinions on what makes a great hike. Horses for courses. But my advice would be to pitch a tent in Marysville and spend two days hiking the Lake Mountain summit and Beeches walk. But plenty of short, medium, long hikes in the area and very scenic. Good luck outdoors.
