Right? The church goes around casually buying million dollar high end apartment complexes with money that it got from people who can't afford to pay basic bills. It's disgusting.

Thank you. 1. This YT creator is very respectful of all. Even her critiques are respectful and she notes when it's her opinion. 2. Mormonism must have a different definition for miracle. In Catholicism, a miracle means something good which can't be explained by earthy means.

IMHO: miracles in mormonism amount to anything that happens that ends in the way someone wants. It's a very broad definition. Lose keys and find them...miracle. Weather clears up when an event is planned...miracle. Run into an old friend at the store..miracle.

Our stake added a new ward a few months ago. On the Saturday before the special meeting change, I went on line to the tools and wrote down how many "units" were in the stake and how many belonged in each of the 6 wards. It was 763 family units within the 6 wards. Now we have 762 family units in 7 wards. Oh... and that information is no longer available to see in the tools on the website. Weird, huh. So to recap, less members overall, smaller ward sizes, but a ward added. Is that church math growth?

It IS church match growth. Hahaha. The church really shot itself in the foot encouraging its members to get educated. They can't keep the truth from thousands of exmo or pimo sleuths.

From what I understand the Tulsa mission didn’t go anywhere, they moved the mission home to Arkansas. It was just renamed, because they name missions after where the mission home is

That as an interesting piece on congregants relying on the #2A to protect themselves. Certainly there are cosplay rambos that might go a bit over the top but at the end of the day I am happy that people can and do protect themselves and their families. To me it feels there has been a deliberate drift towards #AnarchoTyranny and glad people can stand together. No matter what your spiritual belief may be, including Gnosticism and Atheism you should not be at the mercy of crazy psychopaths. I think the big recent wakeup call for me was seeing the video of Christian Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel attacked and stabbed at their church services. Though I have walked from TSCC most my family and loved ones still attend and if I thought they were in danger I would go down and post up myself. There are plenty complaints I have about my kids' heavily Mormon Charter school but the teacher firearm training and teachers with concealed weapons ready to stop a threat is something for which I am very grateful. Those teachers would be such a force-multiplier for the single resource officer if something were to happen. As for the *Lightning Situation*, once again this could have been my own children. We live in Rural Central Utah and I know how crazy these storms can get. My only ask is that TSCC gives some guidance with the upcoming Trek season. Whether we are talking lightning or heat, I would like to see some guidance on when the children should be removed from the adverse conditions. Local pools close and sports games are canceled all the time out here for lightning, why wouldn't similar precautions be adopted for church? You know they even make lightning detectors that you can wear, that will warn you when things are getting worse. I like hiking and camping so I have considered buying a lightning a detector and I know the church has more money than I do.

So many good points. I do not wish harm and wish there wasn't the need for such protections in churches and schools. However...we know better. The church could absolutely do better with education in a myriad of areas...including outdoor camping and hiking safety. The not so beautiful part of having untrained leaders is that they have untrained leaders.

Didn’t the Christian worshiped Jesus say that those that live by the sword shall die by the sword and then healed the soldier that lost his ear at the hand of His disciples? Modern iteration would swap sword for gun. So-called Christians don’t really believe the things that their god taught do they? Hmm.

If Christians really followed all of the tenets of the Bible they would have A LOT more to do. Turns out they pick and choose that ones that work for them...this falls under that category.
