Renlund, Bednar and Nelson are so eager to preach their version of doctrine, which is opposite of what the church used to teach, e.g. God’s love is conditional, members of the Church don’t have free agency, and we are not cleansed from our sins at baptism. So strange.

If we go by the Google definition of doctrine, then doctrine is what is currently (explicitly or implicitly) taught. For example, current doctrine is that alcohol is strictly forbidden, despite what a literal readng of the Word of Wisdom indicates. To determine what doctrine is, we may look at both canonized scripture and Church publications. Anything that has ever been taught but preempted (explicitly or implicitly) by later teachings is not doctrinal; any other teaching stands as doctrine, as obscure as it may be.

That's very interesting point you make in the video, how the "Corporate" church leaders (IE: the prophet that gets voted in by the other apostles and not by God directly along with all the other apostles), are paid a nice 6 figure income, but I fail to see anywhere in the Bible where Jesus or any of his apostles were ever given a salary. In fact, it was the very opposite I saw from Jesus and his apostles, that they took nothing with them and relied on the charity of others to sustain them.

New hymnal? So among individuals, families, meeting houses, temples, etc there must be 20 million or so hymnals in use. So at maybe $5 each (more for large print, spiral bound, etc) that's $100 million gross. Sounds like a big $ maker and a burden on lots of members.

For some of the things you don’t seem to get, it seems like you have to be willfully trying not to understand them. It seems like you’re trying to make a contradiction where none actually exists. When Elder Renland says that, the point is clear, it’s not the water that washes away sins. It’s the power of Jesus Christ that does. When you are baptized you indeed are cleansed from your sins, but it’s only through the power of Christs Atonement, not because of the action itself or the water. I think thats a somewhat mainstream belief in all Christian religions that practice baptism

You seem to be willfully trying to not get some things in order for your point of view to be right. Let's get 2 things straight on this: Baptism is in no way washing your of your sin, nor is it a symbolization thereof. For clarification, read Romans 6. Secondly, let's also stop pretending that LDS is any variety of mainstream Christian organization. It isn't. While maybe it's marketed that way, it most certainly is not.
