When the Tokyo temple was dedicated by President Kimball in 1980, I held a white handkerchief and shouted Hosanna and sang this glorious hymn. The Lord's Spirit was definitely there and trembled our souls.

I became a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 39 years ago. It is the best decision I ever made in my entire life. It is an honour and a gift to be a member of God's only True Church on the face of the earth. His church, his teachings, his gospel, his complete restoration, never to be taken again from earth. We are truly blessed. In God's holy name Jesus Christ, Amen.

Like other commentors, I am not a LDS, but this is simply my favorite LDS hymn hands-down. Mack Wilberg's arrangement is so majestic, powerful and glorious. I've been in a choir of less than half this size and just cannot imagine how thrilling it must be to singing with 359 other folks. Well done, Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra! You bring me so much joy and I am thankful for your work.
