I remember many decades ago the TV special that aired featuring this version of the play. We were all very taken with the actor and actresses who performed. My favorite is still the song that included the line ". . . all alone in my own little chair."

Terry Russel--That's the one he is sing from as well. By Rodgers & Hammerstein. Originally written for Julie Andrews while on vacation for 2 weeks from MY FAIR LADY. It was remade in 1965 with the disney "Girl" at the time, Lesley Ann Warren (brilliant job too. In fact the 2 piece crown she wears was bought years later by her husband...nice) I known there have been several new remakes but i havent seen them. I believe Brandy did one that was very well recieved.. All have Ten minutes ago and yes,... In my own little corner, in my own little chair...

That was amazing. The choir just made that song spinach fuller. I remember I loved this song when I saw it performed on Broadway by Santion but oh that was so different it was beautiful. I can get over how different it was.

Juan Mendoza the lyrics as ding by Stuart Damon and Leslie Ann Downs are the best, held cause she has a reciprocal chiastic line : He's the light of the stars I'm in my eyes. That makes the lyrics,reflexive enough to give a complete depiction is what I dare not mention because it is so eloquently insinuated and danced around in this piece.

The orchestra and the choir are a drag on the song. HE sings it much better on the Original Cast Album.
