I was born into Christ Apostolic church (CAC) in Lagos, Nigeria where I sing. I joined the choir in 1986 till date and now a Methodst and still in the choir, singing bass. Yes, this is a Mormon choir. As long as the hymn/carol does not clash with their church's beliefs, they will sing it. But if the hymn/carol's lyrics is about the Trinity, you will notice that they will alter it. A good example would by the hymn Holy, Holy, Holy. Instead of "God in three Persons; blessed Trinity", they will sing: "God in His glory; blessed Deity".
