Salaam! Very helpful video, thank you Gemma. I love that you start the day with a prayer for other people. I'd like to get an idea of what your and the children's mornings look like. When do you do your morning chores, like cleaning or preparing meals?

Walaykum assalaam Rubina. Great question. We do some morning chores before we begin school, like clean up the kitchen and laundry. And then do more after lunch. Meal prep typically happens after lunch, or before school if I'm making a slow cooker meal.

Great video sis JazakAllah kier. I e been wanting to do a morning basket but didn’t know much about it. Do you know of any English translation of Imam Shafii Poetry? I downloaded a PDF but I prefer a handheld book and don’t like printing all that out. The Shining light I tried to find on Amazon but I couldn’t find it so I will look elsewhere.

Walaykum assalaam Muma. May He for whose sake you love me, love you also. In answer to your question, YES! Homeschooling is simply an extension of parenting. You teach your children everyday as a mum without thinking about it...how to talk politely, how to keep clean, how tidy up etc. Homeschooling is just a more intentional extension of that relationship ❤
