I’m not sure if anyone else feels this way, but I have always been unsure about whether I want to be a mother or not at any point in my life. I’ve just never had maternal instincts or any feelings about babies or children, only with animals so the idea of someday having one of my own has always sounded foreign to me or something that I would probably never want. But after watching Zoe go through her pregnancy and the excitement both her and Alfie have for bringing life into the world as a team and just being each other’s biggest supporters, I think I get it now. And maybe I will want to be a mother someday. Still not 100% but it’s so fun watching them on their journey

Ahh, if she’s a September baby, go straight to the autumn/winter clothes. Babies need to be very warm all the time because they have spent a whole 9 months in the womb, if you put here in summer clothes she wont be warm enough:(. There are also these fabulous things called sock-ons , they go over the sock and keep them in place so baby cant kick them off.

I have a tip for about moisturising! Wait for about 10-15 min before you put clothes on. I really just chill on my bed in my underwear watching TikToks, and then put clothes on! This has really helped me with the stickiness and the moisturiser actually goes into the skin!

With the baby clothes...you should always put baby in one more layer than you would wear. So if you wear a t-shirt and leggings. Baby should have a vest, baby grow/ top and trousers, and maybe a light cardigan. Hope this helps xxxx

I personally recommend getting a u-shaped pillow with a super soft cover. It's the perfect bump pillow for bed and when bub arrives (whilst breastfeeding). 💕

If you guys are still having troubles with names there's an app that my teacher talked about where if gives you names and their meanings and you add ones to your favorites and if Alfie likes the same name it saves it to a different list! I don't remember the name but I know it's a yellow icon and it has an egg on the icon! Super cute idea. Its like tinder for baby names😂😂

Oh zoe I could watch you all day! Love your videos and it feels just like a good chat with a friend. I can't wait to see your little girl and I just know she will be gorgeous, she will have the best style and can't wait to see what you do with the nursery. A little bit of advice for buying clothes make sure they are seasonal appropriate at the min most shops will have summer stuff in so it's easy to be tempted to buy summer stuff, not a parent but as someone who buys a lot of baby gifts it's advice I was given that I didn't really think of before hand. Xx

With the itching, might be worth getting a blood test to check your bile acids. Increased bile acids in pregnancy causes itchy skin and can cause obstetric cholestasis, just wanted to mention it incase you hadn’t heard of it ☺️

Just a tip - you can get tiny little baby knickers which actually go over the top of the tights! Helps stop them falling down because of the nappy!

Actually, i think wool/kashmir is the best choice for babies and kids clothes and blankets. Good quality wool doesn’t itch, is flexible, washes well, regulates temperature, keeps a dry feeling, even after leaking diapers/spitting up, doesn’t hold smells, and is just super cosy and durable! Just be mindful of where the wool comes from and if the sheep are treated well. My fav brands are joha and engel natur, but there are loads out there!

Make sure you keep an eye on your itching if it spreads to the palms of your hands and feet especially at night as it’s a sign of cholostasis. Loving all the pregnancy videos though

Regardless of misconceptions as a black woman my skin is actually quite dry and like you moisturising daily is a chore especially being a busy person so I will actually take your advice on oils. Especially as I’m now menopausal I’ve got drier. One upside is I no longer grow hair on my legs but my daughter got very excited with the razors. I’m due to have a elective double mastectomy and reconstruction due to my BRACA status so boob cream sounds a must. Thank you ❤️

Something my family always swears by when it comes to baby clothes is no buttons or snaps down the back. Because young babies spend so much time laying on their backs that those buttons would get uncomfortable. It’s always talked about and when I have kids I know I’ll be doing the same thing 🥰

Yes to tights! Mama to two girls and socks never stay on, mine lived in dresses and tights or vests and baby grows. Mostly baby grows at the beginning though! Little romper suits are great for hot weather newborns!

I would still but a few 0-3 months as they are bigger than newborn. Also have a couple of tiny baby. All shops are different for the different sizes so much easier once they are born and can go by they weight on the label's xxx
