"Morning" by Clare Fischer performed by William "Kachiro" Thompson

This video features master conga player WILLIAM 'KACHIRO' THOMPSON performing the song "MORNING" by Clare Fischer. Playing with "Kachiro" are Jon Estes on bass, Walt Scott on piano and Chris West on flute.
The congas "Kachiro" is using are the Woodcraft Series and he is using one quinto, two congas and one tumba.

I met Clare back in 1978-1979 at Howard Ramsey's Concerts by the Sea when he was playing with the great Cal Tjader along with Poncho Sanchez. I thank him for his contributions to music.

I think your father have a great legacy to the world with this song, the tempo is subjective, i agree this is the most comparative song with the original one, but many artists made great covers in different versions and tempos

Clare Fisher is a fantastic composer and we are excited to make this version of his tune "Morning" in a different way. The percussionist Kachiro Thompson came from Puerto Rico to do this project in Nashville, the rest of the musicians are from Nashville, and yes, they are great! Thank you for your comment.

You guys delivered again! I'm really loving the Latin Jazz videos so far--are there any plans of doing other genres like Mambo/Salsa, Bolero, Rumba Guaguancó, or anything with Batá? I know Meinl has Batá drums and I've never seen/heard a good video of them being played :D
