@hopereilly6016 I recently had a job at a local department store, and an incident during one particular shift made me want to vomit. I was in charge of the fitting room, and I saw a woman with a MAGA hat walk by. At first, that was all I saw. But when she turned sideways to call for one of her small children, I saw the words spray-painted on her t-shirt, and my mouth dropped open in disgust: "I'd rather have the felon." I was relieved that she didn't see my expression, because I didn't need a possible argument on my hands, in addition to what had already been a stressful evening. (2/7/2025)

We're having our tarot's Tower moment in US history. His father died from alzheimers and it's hereditary. Legacy news was so caught up in Biden that the felon's bad health was ignored. I became so angry at how they sane washed him that I discontinued watching it the day before the election. If you look at photos of him the last time he was in office to today, you can see how much he's deteriorated. I agree that his physical health is worse than what a lot of people think. I'm betting that if he had one decent doctor, he was told not to run, let alone hold the office.

I was talking to a friend the other day, we went for a walk late night. I had no idea he had voted for the felon. He confessed! I was in shock! During our discussion, it was clear to me what is deeply imbedded in him, a lot of internal self hatred and rage with the system. I listened and told him I would not judge him. Which is a lot for me because I have cut off friends because of the Oompa Loompa. I listened deeply, asked some questions and let him arrive at what I witnessed as a healing moment. He was able to see the dysfunction that he was feeding into and that he was holding onto. The next day, he called my sister and told her that he was going to change his party affiliation. That he was deeply sorry for not seeing the full picture and the toxicity. He said he was sorry and vowed never to go back to the Oompa Loompa’s party.

I just can’t understand how they voted for FF47 (with lgbtq children and siblings). It’s different for everyone. I’m doing my best to not judge, it’s not easy. Family is the most challenging.

We get bad leaders in a democratic system, but when they are encouraged by the system, thats the worry. I'm retired from video production, a tip we found: actually audio quality is more important than picture quality, and even that, and expensive microphone isn't needed, the absence of external noise makes the audio great. No wind noise, no papers shuffling makes a fine recording. Note that some people listen at high volume for their hearing, so a cough is like a firecracker, best to edit that out.
