Morning Field Report for Central Oregon Waterfowl Saturday, January 11, 2025. Hunting the "Dip"

We are back at it once again. The Crooked River is just feet over normal and flooded out. We are back in the dip again with a massive set of goose decoys as well as several dozen duck decoys. We shot pretty well. I had a DU supporter and two newer hunters in the blind. We ended up with 7 ducks and one goose. The dip water was mostly frozen and made it harder to set our duck decoys, vit we scratched out a few even on super small water today. I hope you got out there and pursued those ducks and geese!
