I took care of an old woman at a very nice home for elderly people in Stockholm. Every Friday the elderly had a glas of wine and snacks at a certain time and if the weather was nice they sat outside in the garden. I had an MP3 player in those times and this song was one of the songs I had on it. This old lady felt a lot of worry, confusion and grief due to her severe dementia. I will always remember her sudden smile while she was sitting in the sun with “Morning has broken” in her ears. Taking care of old people don’t make you rich with money, but that smile made me rich at heart.

I know where your coming from , my heart is aching for my mom my sister. My friend, age passed on Dec 10th 2003, of colon cancer, and she took in God's beauty and delighted in it, she asked me do you know what the color purple means, 💜, she loved this song, , plus I kept care if both my grandmother's, my aunt ,my dad , my brother they found in a field of a o.d. and I'm here to try to carry on for my 2 girls my 2 grandchildren, even though I don't see them very much, they know they are loved ,also I raised my 2 granddaughters, while my eldest went to pharmacy school and her husband was studying to be a state trooper, , so I had 16 years of raising my g daughters and like you said ,it wasn't for the money , it was helping my family ,and enjoying every day I had with them was a blessing enough, ❤️ 💙 my grandmother ,dad's mom raised us g children so it's the least I could do 4 them, they was fed ,took care if ,no harm came their way, , God blessed me with the strength and put my job and life on hold to do this little tast he set before me, amen on all the care givers ,out in this world , be a friend to mankind, love one another as God has 😍 loved us, can't wait for the homecoming I'm going to have , God needs each and everyone of us, color purple,

London born Eleanor Farjeon [1881-1965] wrote the words to this song. She wrote "fresh from the Word" meaning no doubt the Word of John 1:1-2, but this recording mistakes World for Word. I am sure it was unintentional at least I hope so because Christians believe that Jesus the Word brought creation into existence.
