What is it with Whitesox infielders getting embarrassed in week 1 of August? Fun fact: On 8/5/1993 (30 years and 1 day to the date of this incident) 26 y/o White Sox third baseman Robin Ventura decided to charge the mound after being plunked by 46 y/o future HOFer Nolan Ryan. Ryan put him in a headlock and proceeded to punch him 6 times in the head. Totally embarrassed Ventura just like Anderson. Later voted as the best baseball brawl of all time by ESPN Sports Center…somebody should’ve told Anderson this before he tried Ramirez.

Tom Hamilton calls it like it is with the same intensity for the opposing team when they do good things. He would have called it the same way if Hosey went down . I used to love pushing the toddlers around in the stroller back in the 90's and listen to Tom call the game with my cassette radio almost every game. Sure miss Omar Visquel and Robbie Alomar's quick one handers and flips at SS AND 2cnd, and stealing home, Albert Bell ,young Manny Ramirez of course Jim Thome . The biggest come back from 12 down to win 15-14 in extra innings in 2001. That was baseballs finest.

Jose has def trained and tim has def never hit pads in life... the way Jose closed the distance, used head movement to set up the kill shot was legitimately impressive...
