I was on drugs for over 20 years, I was a functioning addict. Went to prison, abusive relationships, lost my mom in 2021, lost my job 2022 for something I didn't do, never been fired from a job, 8 months after my mom passed, I lost my dad. Got very depressed and was suicidal but I didn't have the guts to do it. I'm alive today and don't know how or why, but I'm starting a new job Monday that is a great job with a wonderful opportunity. Thank you God for loving me and not giving up on me!!! If I can do it anyone can! Don't give up!!

I woke up this morning listening to this video and I was really inspired and motivated. But the person that is speaking mentioned that the only thing that can change is yourself and that is so true and you have to believe in yourself because who else is going to believe in you if you don't believe in yourself. I hit the bricks pretty hard the past couple decades… what seems like a few years has actually been decades gone by and I’ve experienced a terrible drug addiction that nearly took my life. I started out with Percocet and end up with a fentanyl addiction. Long story short I finally started to pray 🙏🏽, God has helped in healing my heart and soul. He has giving me strength and protection from evil. It’s only now that I can see God has always been with me, I had simply choose to ignore him. I am not yet where I want to be but I am so thankful and grateful I am not where I was. A father to 3 beautiful children and an amazing wife that has stood by my side for 21 years despite my ups and downs. I promise I will continue to strive for the best life and give my family what they deserve. 🙏🏽
