Sarah Anne, thank you for your prayers! Could you please pray for me? I've experienced recurring depression during the past several summer seasons and it has hit hard again this week. I know I've done a lot of work to renew my mind with the Word of God and spend time with Him daily. So it's especially disappointing because I had been feeling so much better for awhile. I need to know some next steps toward healing and am asking God to make it clear what those steps are. Thank you!

Hi Beth! Thanks for sharing your heart with me. I struggle with anxiety, and know how frustrating it can be when I hit an extra rough patch after doing better. One of the things that brings me comfort is knowing that God's light can pierce through the darkest circumstances. We are not alone in our battle, but our Heavenly Father sees us and is with us. Cling to the promise that this world is not our home, but our eternal home is free of pain and heartache. Here's some of my favorite Bible verses for depression and anxiety.
