I don’t throw food out based on the dates, I throw it out once it’s actually bad. Those dates are sell by dates not expiration so they’re not actually bad yet! When I was growing up we were super poor and used to shop at a place called grocery outlet and all they sold was food that was past its sell by date but still good and I survived lol

Coffee mate is dairy free for some flavors so that might be why they don't really "expire", curdle in hot coffee and are okay when sitting out for a while

When you started talking about the expiration date on the creamer I thought of a documentary you need to watch. It is called Just Eat It. It is about food waste and they talk about the expiration dates and how they were never meant to be seen by the public. I think you can rent it on Amazon.

@@taylorwynn 2:13 Food "expiration" dates are *not* expiration dates. The ONLY food required by the FDA to have an expiration date is "Baby Formula". *ALL the rest are "Best Buy", Sell By", and "Use By" dates.* The FDA says on their own site that most canned and boxed food last months and years beyond their "Best Buy", Sell By", and "Use By" dates. Also, Bill Clinton signed the Good Samaritan Act in 1996 to encourage the donation of food and grocery products to qualified non-profit organizations and provides liability protection to food donors.

Taylor I love your channel so much! Just wanted to say that I am a huge nail DIYer, and it is completely possible to do your own nail enhancements at home, 0 damage, but it has taken me years to learn how. I’m simply nail obsessed, so I’ve learned. Damage comes from over filing the nail surface, you only need to just remove the shine, only need a fine grit buff. Efiles are awesome but must be used extremely gently, salons do not do this gently. I never go to the salon anymore for that reason. For anyone who wants easy home nails, try Apres Gel X - they are basically very easy to apply gel nails, very inexpensive compared to the salon. They are easy to remove, allow you to do whatever you want to your nails with a beautiful pre-shaped enhancement. Last tip - mix nail polish and gel top coat 50/50 for gel polish. You need more painted layers, but it works PERFECTLY!

Jojoba oil helps a LOT with strengthening my nails! I order mine off of Amazon. The best one is a dropper, but the dropper and lid are one. (I don't know how to explain it. What I'm trying to say is the dropper is not separate. The one with a separate dropper sucks). I take a q-tip and dab it on my nails once a day. It makes the world a difference!

If you apply cuticle oil religiously your nails will stay great and way better than gel. Your nails will grow stronger over time. Also when my nails are super weak I have them put extensions on (but cut them down to look more natural) so that the dip isn’t directly on my nails! When the nail tech told me about extensions and showed me how much stronger they leave your nails I was blown away.
@deedavis69814 жыл бұрын
Dip powder is finely milled acrylic, you can soak them off in acetone, so just put some nail polish remover/pure acetone on on a cotton pad and wrap that over your nail with tin foil to remove them without having to file them all the way down to the natural nail.
@amandaiosua92694 жыл бұрын
It took me 6 months to grow out the horrible nails I was left with after gel polish. Now I use a peel off base coat under if I want to do a gel polish manicure. I do all my gel nails at home. I never file down my nail to give it tack. I literally just put on the peel off base and do the manicure as normal curing between coats. It lasts well if you just wear gloves if your doing dishes or cleaning. I get a solid week out of my manicure. Then when it's time...I use acetone and an orange stick thingy and peel them off gently. Then use the remover after to clean up and I'm good to go! No nail damage!

Tip on the Dip: soak them off yourself before you go back to get them redone. Much easier than removing gel. Just file off the top layer and use cotton soaked in acetone - it kind of gums off like that sticky stuff they use to stick your new credit/debit card on the paper. I usually follow removal with a week or two with a nail strengthener before redoing them.

I was so confused when she first did the dip stuff and said it didn't damage your nails. However they don't file mine off like that they just remove it and it only takes maybe 15 min or so. They actually call it "soak off" just rubbing with a paper towel or something and re soaking helps HOWEVER when they first apply it they file down the nail basically the same as you were getting fake tips so the gel or acrylic powder sticks better. For the most part it's just acrylic nails without the tip. I almost always kept my nails done and a year and a half ago I started doing the "dip powder " I liked the look even better and it lasted a long time and I keep my nails shorter, the only downside is you have to do the whole thing over instead of getting a fill in or two in between, so it's more of a process each time and more expensive, I decided to start just wearing my natural nails again which I would do from time to time but they acrylic mldamages them so bad I usually get tired of trying to let them grow and get more nails, they break and peel and look so horrible, plus nail polish won't stick without chipping in a day no matter what you use!! It took me 6 months to get my nails back to anything normal after the powder!

It doesn't destroy your nails. How they remove it does. I have 10 years of nail knowledge and experience. All the drilling and such is destroying the nails. The more rough it is being removed the worse the damage. You can cut and hurt your natural nails with the drill. I've done it within my first few times using a nail drill. No hate just trying to give words of knowledge.
