Hi, Vern! Don't stress too much about having a supply/stash. Breastfeeding during the day lang para mag contact nap mo after. Then, you can give him formula at night or the freshly pumped milk you have before sleeping. Let go of the expectations because other moms have a lot of stored milk. Remember that your body produces ENOUGH milk that your baby needs, and it will adjust accordingly. You are enough ❤

I'm grateful to Vern for sharing her experience with breastfeeding and motherhood. It made me realize just how challenging it is to be in that position, and I'm in awe of all the moms out there who are powering through these times. Vern also made me realize how proud I am of my sister. Having two little kids is no joke-you barely have time for yourself, and it’s obviously exhausting. I really needed this kind of video because, at the end of the day, all I want is a blissful life, free from hatred in my heart. (context, me and my ate aren't in good terms) Life is indeed full of suffering, but having the people you care about around you is what makes it all worthwhile.

You don't stress yourself with breastfeeding. You will just have to enjoy it. It will not be forever and you will miss it when you stop. That's what I've learned while breastfeeding my 3 kids for 2 years. And I think that helped me breastfed that long.

I was also on the verge of giving up at around 4th month but then I discovered side lying breastfeeding., it was a game changer. Or maybe it was the time that I felt confident doing side lying. Felt I was going insane, kawawa husband 😅. Pumping was what’s really draining me. I had to wash it and clean myself, no help at all. I stopped pumping at around 7 months and just did direct latch. My baby is now 22 months and still breastfeeding. It’s gonna be better soon. God bless you.

I had the same situation. I just quit pumping cause doble ang struggle with pumping. Nagdirect latch nalang kami and it made my life easier for me 😊

@ yessss super struggle talaga magpump. It drains the life out of a mother. But there are mothers na pumping lang talaga until 1yo. Like how do you that?!?! God bless you and your baby, mommy.

Nobody really talks about how hard it is to breastfeed 😢, I think the pressure really comes when we think we need to push really hard to store milk but what we only need is to produce what our baby needs.. Hope you have more patience to push to 6mons!

Hi ms vern, i just gave birth a week ago. I can totally relate. I also have inverted nipples. It is very hard in my case coz I am the only one taking care of my baby since my husband is working. I had no choice but to switch to formula milk. I hope it doesnt make me a less of a mother. 😢

I was so lucky I have a lot of supply of milk for bub, got 1L extra everyday to pump coz baby cannot keep up with my milk which I am continuous-exclusively breastfeeding for 2.5yrs and still does..At first I was so hesitant about it but when my milk starts to come out I was happy, it's mentally draining but the moment you commit to provding for baby everything else will follow, you need to eat more, eat well, don't stress too much, not getting sleep is part of a process. But again every person is different and it's good you get the help that you need. It's better for premie baby to have breastmilk though but you know your body and you have to take care of ur family. Supporting new moms like you❤

last year i had my baby. i was trying bf but i was really having a hard time. my baby wont even latch on me. i was so frustrated and its taking on me mentally. as an ofw, we dont have any help from family. so it was really physically and mentally challenging. i tried pumping but i can only pump 10 ml. i was crying and stressing. til i made a decision to stop. i didnt to quit but in order to take care of my baby i had to. now my baby is already 1 yr and 6 months.

The most important is you if you are good then Nathan be good. Breastfeeding or not. Yes its true that there are alot of pros of breasfeeding but also cons. So its always up to you. If it takes toll on you and your relationship specially your marriage. You cant be a good mom, wife or any if you are not happy and not ok. Praying for you..❤️❤️

Welcome to the world of motherhood. Breast milk is the best milk you can give to your son.....That's normal to have cat fight with your hubby. Part of post partum journey...just have an open communication with each other....love over power everything....the child is the best blessing...

Hi mommy vern, I am also a preemie mom-a 33 weeker. It will take time, it took us 6 months to contact nap; to the point that you would sacrifice your urinary bladder and pelvic pain. Hang in there because one day he will learn to sleep on his own, and you’ll surely miss those moments when the only bed he knows were your arms/chest. :)))

Nathan looks like Ben, no worries of your appearance bc it’s an adjustment period with mother & child. Once you get the rhythm of you & Nathan you’ll will have time to take care of your old self it’s still there give it 3-6mos with Nathan & you be back on track. Nursing is a challenge some pulls thru & some don’t, good that you have a support system, whether you succeed or not is no judgement. Of course natural is always best, Baby will live on a bottle, enjoy being a Mom !

focus on latching Vern rather than pumping. Pump when you feel only like doing it, counting times will make you stress
