Love me some Steph! Thank you for this vid. ❤️ I’ve been using “The Ordinary” glycolic acid 7%, and I’ve had great results!! It resurfaced my skin but didn’t strip my natural tan (I’m dry-normal). I put it on at night so that it doesn’t play havoc with the sun during the day, cuz that’s definitely a thing. 🥂🍾cheers!

Not better than some drugstore products either. My guess is that estheticians will promote products you can only buy in their clinics because 1. they know the products and 2. they make a little profit from selling them. This is great and every time I go to the salon or esthetician I buy one or two. I support them and their knowledge. But let’s not fool ourselves into believing medical grade exist. You can get similar actives from The Ordinary.

Actually medical grade has more of the active ingredient and are formulated to have a smaller molecular structure so they can go deeper into the skin and actually go to work for you. Department and drugstore products stay on the surface level of skin.

I get so excited for some of these products only to find out I can’t get them here in Canada. It’s such a bummer, we have extremely limited SPF options and what we do have sucks. I was so excited for this Alastin one but it looks like Canada doesn’t allow it here 🤦🏼‍♀️. I wanted that tinted eye cream from another video too but nope. The hunt continues.

My favorite body sunscreen I highly recommend is the brand Soleil Toujours! They have a spray on that leaves the skin so soft & a cream version that gives the skin a beautiful glow. They don’t smell like sunscreen & the formulation is the best. It’s pricey but worth it 🙌🏼

Hi Steph, do you ever need to take breaks from the exfoliating products? I ask because the BHA liquid, IS Clinical and Vit.C are all exfoliating plus exfoliating at night... It never makes you dry or irritated? Can't wait to try some of these! I love the BHA liquid!

Personally, no. But I’ve been incorporating acids into my routine for about 5 years now so I’ve worked up to it! Also this vitamin c formula is amazing for sensitive skin! I’ve had some bad experiences with others but this one is great

You should try the Riversol mineral Spf40 created by Dr. Rivers from Vancouver, Canada. There's also the Spf30 tinted for face. Might as well get the 15 days free sample (no strings attached, completely free). Choice of anti-aging or anti-redness kit. Make sure to choose specify skin type. Cheers!

I’ve been using the Paula’s choice BHA toner for years too! I’m not sure it does wonders for my pores likes it’s supposed to but it always gives me firmer glassy looking skin it’s weird. If I don’t use it I notice my skin more dull. Steph, have you used the Drmtgly tinted sunscreen ? It’s a combo sunscreen but it’s gorgeous. Gives my skin a tight glassy look too and I’m curious how the Alastin compares to it since it’s all mineral I would prefer that, but the Drmtgly price is only $19 for 1.7 oz so that’s awesome too!

Hey girl! Just wanted to mention that it is recommended not to use an exfoliant in the morning time. It could potentially make your skin sensitive to the sun. It's best to use the exfoliant only at nighttime and every other night.

@precious A I've been taught to not use exfoliants and retinols in the same day, but if it works for her, then that's great. I was just concerned for her to experience any future irritation, but then again every skin is different and unique.
