Wow thanks for the kind words, Joy. Unfortunately, I don't really push the newcomers anymore and I've taken many steps back. Perhaps because I have done this for so long, seen so much, and have seen the changes in attitude. I don't mind the commercialization, I don't care about people getting paid, having affiliate links, or whatever. I live my life outside the "fragrance community" and I've seen so much in my job but just in life that when I come back to the fragrance community, I kinda get turned off by people who take this hobby way too seriously. They'd rather put that passion into something as simple as fragrances when they could be using that same passion to help their fellow man/woman by giving their time, energy, money, or just an ear. Its alright to be passionate but I think people can also use that passion for other things to make their own lives and the world a better place. Some of their names, you mentioned, I don't really watch but I check out their channel from time to time. I am just about letting people do them and watch those resonate with you and your interests the most. Thanks again for the kind words, Joy. You certainly made my morning.

Good morning to you, Joy! I completely agree, and you couldn’t have expressed these concepts better. I could listen to you talking about this stuff for hours, because I’m also passionate about this subject. And yes, it becomes depressing. As a female fragrance reviewer who has just started a channel and only shows her hands, I find it even harder. I often wonder what on Earth I was thinking when I decided to be on KZbin. I’m actually considering letting it go. Not many people are left who have a genuine passion for fragrances and aren’t afraid to express themselves about the positive AND the negative aspects of them.

There is a very dark thing going on.."to pretend".To pretend that people are happy,to pretend that their life is all happy and beautiful..but we all know that is not the case...even when you are person like joy who is beautiful from heart...Like you enjoy to see blooming of a flower you also have to watch when that leaf falls from tree...it is a part of life..downs are a part of life...that what makes us think about ourselves and we become better..but people just pretends...and in the process of pretending they forget to enjoy the other part of life.

Too many sponsored fake reviews now. Reviewers hyping up fragrance they have been paid to hype and they hide the fact. Like Demi rawling. Her channel is one big sponsored advert lol. And she puts in the video description... this video is NOT sponsored but has a ton of affiliate links to the fragrance she hypes in the description box that she gets commission on. Same with Daver from the fragrance bro’s. And redolessence turned to the dark side a long time ago.

CaLi Reviews Hahaha I’ve actually just blind ordered a neroli fragrance by Ferrari. I was looking for something that smelled really close to 4711 and had some sort of longevity. Apparently, the Ferrari one could be it. I guess I’ll wait and see/smell. 😅😁
