That brought back some memories of my brief career driving class 1. Felixstowe container depot was organised chaos. Nobody knew anything, and it was a struggle just to get loaded and get away from there. Once on the motorway, it's easy money until you get to the small towns that are really not suitable for a class 1. I gave the job up as I thought the money was poor for the stress/responsibilities involved. Starting wage for C1 should be £25 per hour, bare minimum. Ignore me, though, and keep on trucking 🚚

If I didn't have that first cup I was probably driving illegally! 😂I always need a kick-start before I drive, especially with a very early start or my driving isn't worth $h1t!! 😮 Having to go back because you mistyped your reg - makes you more annoyed because you can't blame anyone else AAARRRGGGHHH! 🤬 I know what that feels like, I had plenty of experiences of that! 😂😂 Isn't if strange why some days you just can't get going? I have a theory that it's all part of fate, making sure you are in the right place at the right time, OR NOT in a BAD place at the WRONG time! Those delays may have saved your life............. Quick question here on hours, just doing my hgv theory at the moment. Using your hours shown in this video to check my undertanding. If you started at 04:30 and finished at 20:07, and you need at least 9 hours rest (reduced daily rest) within the 24 hours from when you started work (04:30), you should fininsh work at 1930 else you have had insufficient rest by 37 minutes if you finished at 20:07? Is that correct?

Great vid .Sat Nav ? Jeez I started class 1 on 73 just had maps and pulled some pretty high trailers .Was always having to watch out for high bridges as often routes took me away from motorways.Lots of roping and sheeting on flat trailers then.Trucks were pretty basic.( not even a radio ) time I finished in in 05 what a difference in trucks.Leep on trucking Lena.Despite the probs I enjoyed the life.
