Today stay at home mom Jody wakes up with the kids, toddler Theo is being very silly all morning as usual and baby Odessa says no to nap time, while Leon gets to do some fun homeschool things.

Now that Theo and Odessa are talking so much, it would be great to see Leon using augmented communication to decrease the discrepancy between his excessive and receptive communication. Now that you are in a new state, have you investigated the schooling opportunities for him??

We aren't in a new state exactly since we lived here before lol. We did an IEP meeting here in WV when Leon was 3 and I was not impressed at all, nothing against the teachers it's just the school lack so much that's out of their control, hence why we moved in the first place. I'm very comfortable with outpatient therapy, his forrest school group, and homeschool. I have learned to never to say never but for now this is what's working for Leon. He has trouble controlling a tablet (never tried a communication device) so we use PECS for now and he is starting to pick it up.

If your kinetic sand has "dried" out a bit, you do use water to soften it again. BUT don't just pour some water on it. If u have a water bottle with the mist setting. Start with ONE spray and massage the sand. Or you can simply wet your hands & massage the sand. Kinetic sand doesn't actually "dry out" it usually just depends on the moisture (or lack there of) in the area you live in. I hope this helps!

I have a question for you. Is that like Connecticut? Send why grand kids are into that? Can you find different pieces for it, or do you have to buy every set to get different pieces for this I want you to know. I think it's amazing what you are doing with Leon and the other ones Knowing how to count and knowing their colors and their alphabet is Cool because by the time they go to school. The teachers think it's really cool that they already know that.
