Finance expert, not a math expert. I can't do great math either but I can save more money and invest more than any one I know proving you don't need to be good at "simple math" to be rich or an expert in another field, stop being so text book, this is the real world and you don't need PhD or theory to make money, I'd argue being more motivation to hold yourself back on instant gratification is more important than knowing simple math, today we got chatgpt, we got calculators that are much smarter than you so get off your high horse.
