Alcohol is not easy to get in Morocco. At least that's what I thought. Being a Muslim country, this is expected of course, and with all due respect. But when my hostel owner offered to take me to the grocery to get some beer, I couldn't say no. He took me for a spin in the chaotic city of Marrakech, no better way to see this city than in the back of a motorbike with a knowledgeable local man giving you the tour. Join me on this Moroccan adventure through the streets of its most famous city!

Alcohol is haram for Muslims to consume or serve or even be in the presence of alcoholic beverages. Unfortunately some Moroccans are not practicing Muslims and therefore don’t know any better and cannot uphold Islamic values.
