Oh wow, I'm going exactly here in TWO WEEKS. Equally excited and terrified. I've never climbed outside UK. Staying at KT as well, climbing in the same sort of area. If you've got any tips I'd be really grateful 🙏. Looks like you guys had a magical time, thanks for the video!

@@lornakelly2044 super excited for you to be going! And as a first trip outside too it’ll blow your mind. So first thing I’d say is that it’s very adventurous- as many of the routes and guidebook and still relatively new and cover an extensive area, the route descriptions and topos are quite vague so on the multi pitch routes it’s really easy to stray off the correct line so maybe lower your grades until you get a feel. The south facing crags can be very warm and the north facing crags very cold if there’s a chilly wind (given the time of year) if you’re using the crack addicts guidebook use the QR codes in the back to get the precise parking spots. The Wi-Fi in KT only works in the eating area - it’s the one that comes up as 2.4k or something like that as there are a few different ones. The breakfasts and evening meals are plentiful so I just took cereal bars out for lunch each day (take these from the uk) the only option for buying stuff there is a very small town 5 miles away. (Things like olives, dates, bread) market day is Thursday. Have a magical time!
