The government didn't want to repeat the Indonesian scenario where letting all that aides and rescues led to the opposite : more delays , more wasted time in coordination and in those mountain areas roads are already cut off & need military intervention. There's another serious reason is that you don't wanna ending up in chaos by having all kinds of organization in ground , some of them driven by non-human reasons !! Morocco didn't accept the aid of the US either at this stage cause as the interior ministry said the most effective Way is to have limited number with high levels of coordination and to avoid having aids the country not in need of

As someone who’s had family effected by this first hand…I know how remote those villages actually are it’s devastating and I have family currently there with food and supplies to support the village and our house fortunately was to damaged so can be used for now. May allah be with these people! When winter hits it’s going to devastate the even more if they can’t get to those who are stuck

I am a Moroccan atheist and I have a Christian friend from a village there. His sister died. You should know that every village has minorities. These villages were founded before the existence of heavenly religions. These are Amazigh and they do not know racism. They are among the kindest people on earth. Ask tourists why they love this region, so Marrakesh and Agadir cities that receives the most tourists in Africa.
