Itinerary found here: thestrollersaga.com/2022/01/14/family-road-trip-through-morocco/ We really only did one tour, which was with Kam Kam Dunes in Merzouga. I guess we also hired a guide for the day in Fes. We felt very safe there!

We went to the desert near Merzouga. It's about a 9 hour drive, but we stayed overnight in Ait Benhaddou on our way, which I highly recommend!

Lovely trip! I have 4 daughters, 3, 5, 9 and 12 yo and was wondering if it was feasible to do a trip to the Sahara from Marrakech. How did you plan your trek and did the kids mind the long car ride?

So fun! We drove from Marrakech to Merzouga with an overnight stay at Ait Ben-Haddou. The overnight stop broke up the drive a bit, and was a lot of fun too! (We stayed at Kasbah Tebi, which was really cool.) The kids did well in the car and listened to lots of audiobooks. Have a great trip!
