It was 3:00 in the morning, the cold air of the Sahara piercing through our spines, the camp was restful from yesternight’s merriment.
In the quiet of daybreak, the camels grunt from a distance as we prepared for the remaining days of the trip, to create more images and to bask in the unfathomable grace of seeing the mysterious outstretched desert, the enormous icy High Atlas, the vast fields of vibrant greens and yellows. Each road trip was a feast to the eyes, each scene screams glory.
We rode the camels to the deeper part of the desert, unbeknownst where they may lead. The morning Moroccan light blanketed us with warmth as we moved further and further until we reached a certain spot on Earth.
There, a visualized image was deemed possible. We stopped. There, as the sun slowly rose and brightened the curves of the desert, shadows softly showed. There, we were able to take images we once dreamt. There, we believed, despite uncertain paths, keep on.
Thankful to Dustin and Isabel who pulled through, layout after layout, braving the chilly breeze and lack of sleep. Thankful to a team who diligently and persistently making things happen. Immensely thankful to the Artist who never fails to inspire.
This is the second of two collections we had in Morocco for these winsome two.
Adieu,
