We didn't really know what to expect of the coast but we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived in the sleepy surfer town! We of course had to try some surfing (which matt was not good at) and then explored a bit of the town and ended the night with a beach bonfire!

A local said to me, "in the 70's came the hippies, then came the surfers the came the capitalist. Taghazout, small village gone over the top tourism. now..sewage, waste problems fishermen having to go up coast from their own village, but on the suface all is good.

Hello Matt, and Molly, Good Morning. It is a beautiful day in Perth. Just 20 degrees. Never experienced this type of weather in 52 years in Perth. Love it. It was nice to see Ronaldo playing soccer on the Moroccon beach, and nice to see Molly surfing. You both are game. I love the beaches, but I wouldn't make an attempt to swim on our beaches. Yesterday I was watching a program on fishing before the News at 6pm. This guy went fishing with his mate. He would have been maybe 300 metres from the shore line. His boat was surrounded by hungry sharks. That beach you were surfing on, was packed. with people. Covid is back in Perth and the Eastern States. It looks like we will be wearing mask again.
