Dude, Yedora’s interaction with morph= “🤯”. I didn’t think that would work!

Morph doesn't care how the creature got turned face down, so it works great with Yedora. There are even a couple of creatures that become infinite sac fodder with Yedora out: Proteus Machine and another creature that costs a single green mana to morph.

I run a single phyrexian altar, because it makes any of the 2 morph cost creatures infinite and free. So I am able to keep sorceries, and abilities at bay, and destroy all the artifacts. etc. etc. as an alternate win combo with Yedora.

YEEES! Cadira hype! Was wondering why she was playing the token generators first and then Cadira, but the Crossroads made things clear. It's one thing I've been liking about the decks general strategy, once it gets going IT GETS GOING.

Sad to see Ramos go since i love mutate, but makes sense to keep Jodah instead. If you ever want to give mutate another shot, other that the more known ones (Otrimi, Tatsnuari, Ivy, Cromat,...) i can say that Tana + Ravos also makes a fun mutate deck.

I was really hoping for a Bane of the Living reveal from that morph deck. It is probably my favorite "gotcha!" move in Kadena or any other deck in which I have chosen to include it.

Hey Muddstah, I believe I played one of the last games with my Ramos mutate deck last week. It went well nad all but was a long game and would not have won if not my draws were good, or I had not played some of the good stuff cards that allowed for the strategy to work...I am thinking Ur-Dragon as anything else that's 5c does not interest me atm and a beater deck like Ur is what my usual cycle of decks is missing.

I learned a while ago not to play brine elemental unless you can both loop and protect it. It is one of those cards that draws more aggro than it provides in defense.

Darth Muddstah, fusing monsters together with his Sith alchemy... I wanted to add mutate creatures to my Optimus Prime deck, just for the flavor of combining with Transformers... sadly, mutate doesn't work with Optimus's death trigger (the rest of the mutate pile doesn't return to the battlefield with him because they don't have a back face) and the mutate creatures themselves don't add enough to justify their inclusion. 🙁

Question : If I controle an opponent commander (thanks to chromeshell crab for instance) while also having yedora, if said commander dies, can I keep it as a tree friend ? Or is the owner deciding what happens still ? I think I know the answer but I want to make sure...

Whenever a Commander changes zones (from field to grave, from grave to exile, etc.), its owner has the option of returning it to the Command Zone. In short, the owner decides.

@@LordZanbaI thought so too initialy but the exact rule says "If a commander is in a graveyard or in exile and that card was put into that zone since the last time state-based actions were checked, its owner may put it into the command zone." I'm not certain the "time stated" check allows the owner to decide... but in any case, it would mean the commander becomes a forest on the owner side of the field. I'm still confused by some of the tehnicalities around the stack so I might be completely off... Also since I haven't seen people talking about that interraction, it probably means you're right. Would have been fun to completely cripple the commander like that tho...one can dream

I love Yedora! I built a deck for her a while ago, but it just turned into a combo deck. Cards like Temur Charger or Proteus Machine immediately go infinite with a sac outlet, and as the "Forests" can tap for green before you flip them, you normally end up with infinite mana. Only ended up playing it four or so times, but the deck always did WORK.

Kadena is a ton of fun. But I do try my best not to play morph cards which draw a fuckton of aggro, cause most of the fun stuff is just silently building a board of morphs. though I do have plenty of cost reducers and means to play morphs on everyone else's turn. Yes. Yedora is in it. I'm currently searching for another surprise gimmick card that benefits morphs.

So when Marie reveals the crop rotation off the top to resolve Chaos warp why does she get to put it back on top of her deck? I always thought it went to the bottom if it wasn't a permanent?
