Gates McFadden aka Dr. Beverly Crusher, was in the first season of Star Trek The Next Generation. Diana Muldaur replaced her playing Dr. Katherine Pulaski in season 2. But Gene Roddenberry admitted that the Dr. Pulaski character did not develop a chemistry with the other characters, so McFadden was approached to return as Dr. Crusher for the third season. So Gates McFadden returned for the rest of the seasons, 3-7. She starred in all six Next Gen movies as well. The Picard series is not on Netflix, it’s on Paramount Plus. Don’t be a self-ageist, the Picard show is great, especially season 3, where all the original Next Generation cast returns, and it’s an awesome series. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.
