not sure if you know this or not but you can dye the dog collars with various pigments made from raw flowers, you just walk up to the dog with the pigment in your hand and left click or right click the dog i forget which it is

I'm not sure what that indicates. I thought you hear that sound if you are near a cave or are one block away from a void. I'm not sure. It can be scary if you are immersed in the game and the lights are out.

Whoever told you that you cannot go into The Nether without enchantments was trolling you. You need to go in there. Also, just mine instead of using explosions. Dynamite takes longer And it blows up your materials too.
