I can't seem to make this work. Does it need to have only a single mask to work? Because when I use auto-trace to the PNG, several mask paths were generated.

Remove all masks except the first one.

I think I might have found a solution for this. Do the same thing and paste everything to one path. Then just make the stroke of that shape layer big. Like really big until it fills everything. Not sure if this is going to work with the morphing though. I'm about to test it out.

thanks for the tut! how would you go about doing this with say letters? i'm experimenting with some thing similar but with text. trying to "merge paths" so it's just one keyframe for each morph but no go.

Can you do this with something more complicated like an actual logo with text? Seems like a one shape plane to another plane is super easy but this doesn't translate well when your logo has over 20 masks and you need to morph it into something with 40 masks
