The only thing I'd have changed, which isn't really anything that you could have done(considering when this was made) was the blood on your hands line would be PERFECT matched with the bloody harpoon scene from the second season. Though the shot of him stepping on the Cabbie's shoulder would fit too. Everything else, though? PERFECT.

John wants more than friendship with Sherlock. And Sherlock, only puts it down to a deeper sense of friendship and not desire, and if not possibly, love. And, at times John can't bare that. He's not going rock the boat and tell Sherlock how he feels. He'll take friendship over, not having Sherlock as his friend.
