I don’t think the world understand how dope it is that Morray made it. He was just a cool funny talented regular young man, city bus, food stamps, surviving eye to eye with the humility of our environment. I didn’t know him personally but I vividly remember seeing him on the city bus in the ville. This dude was a big energy. And his funny personality had the whole back of the bus laughing, and like me, I’m sure that small gesture of good energy was carried on throughout the day after getting off the bus. He was a regular ass dude just getting off work headed home after a long ass day talking about he couldn’t wait to smoke that “after work L” he had us rolling. And most of us was strangers to each other, just brought together through public transportation. I remember that just off the strength of it being a cool moment and out of all places, on the damn city bus, plus, I just don’t forget a face in general. So imagine how mind blowing it was that the NEXT TIME I SAW HIM WAS ON TV. I was like YYOOOOOOOO THATS BUDDY FROM DA FCKN TRANSIT!!!!!!!!!!!!🤯🤯🤯🤯 I get chills just thinking about that shit. Fr. It’s so many times when it’s the opposite, you see a person or something and next time you see or hear about they either dead or in jail. So to have a experience in a humble ass place on a humble ass day then see this same funny ass dude blow up smh GOD IS GOOD. Seeing him make it is a blessing to so many in the Ville, the world fasho, but the ville particularly cuz shiitt for a long time especially before Cole, won’t nobody checkin for us.
